Patchwork & Quilting – Advanced Classes                                                   Updated for 2026-27

The advanced classes are for experienced stitchers who want to explore innovative and contemporary styles of quilt-making – to quote a student, ‘we like to be ‘challenged and stretched!’ It provides an opportunity for students to extend their skills, learn new techniques, design and develop ideas for project work, and generally enjoy the company of like-minded people with a passion for being creative!  There are two Advanced classes at present on Tuesdays and Fridays. The classes are fortnightly from 10.00-3.30, and there are 15 sessions running from September to the end of May.

Autumn Term: 6 weeks – 15 Sept, 29 Sept, 13 Oct (Half-term) 3 Nov, 17 Nov, 1 Dec.

 Spring 2027: 6 weeks – 5 Jan, 19 Jan, 2 Feb, (Half-term) 23 Feb, 9 March, 23 March.

Summer 2027: 3 weeks – 20 April, 4 May, 18 May.

FRIDAY DATES for 2026-27  – 15 weeks

Autumn Term: 6 weeks – 25 Sept, 9 Oct, 23 Oct (Half-term) 13 Nov, 27 Nov, 11 Dec.

 Spring 2027: 5 weeks – 15 Jan, 29 Jan, 12 Feb (Half-term) 5 Mar, 19 Mar.

Summer 2027: 4 weeks – 16 April, 30 April, 14 May, 28 May.

Fees for both classes

Autumn term: 6 weeks – £198 (£33.00 a session, paid by term)

Spring Term: 5 weeks – £165 (paid by term)

Summer term: 4 weeks – £132 (paid by term)

Discount for booking all 15 sessions – £457.50. (£30.50 per session).
